The grumpy days

This was one of those grumpy days when my mom asked me to go to the super market just when I woke up (Don’t ask me the time) to buy bread and butter. I kept on pestering her that if she forgot to tell me to buy something, which she normally does, that I won’t go back. I rode to the market making a grumpy face. I soon reached the supermarket and bought the stuff, headed back home talking to myself as I walked among the trees and reached home. After talking to my mother I had to run back to the supper market again!.

No! my mother didn’t forget this time, but, I did! I forgot my brand new bike which I rode to the market. It is not one of those simple bikes with just two wheels and one working break. It is a bike with 15 gears. It is a combination of white and pink with splashes of black. We bought it the day it was launched. So you can imagine how worried I was. I got even more worried remembering my sister’s new Huffy bike which got stolen couple of months ago from East Pool. I was almost their, I couldn’t believe my eyes I didn’t see the bike I ran further. I found my bike safe and sound It was my happiest moment. Don’t you think this was a nice adventure to begin the day with?

Swine Flu

I believe ‘swine flu’ is a common flu and it did not affect my little soul until my dad visited our concerned neighbour. My neighour’s family is very scared. They avoid crowded places and moreover have started yoga, hoping to build their resistance against swine flu. My mama is thinking of starting “beetroot juice saga” :( all over again to fortify the family resistance!!!- . I actually think it will build resistance for awful tastes. For more information about beetroot juice refer ‘zebra talk’ by my sister Zeba. In a few days if you see someone with a mask, a glass of disgusting reddish-purple juice, saying OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM –that could be ME FIGHTING SWINE FLU :)

Rasha and Grandpa’s papers:

When I was 2 years, I looked almost four and talked good English - for my age.-ha-ha!( this is actually true)My grandpa thought I could write. Ironically, I could not even draw a straight line

He didn’t know this and would lend me papers thinking I would practice writing.

I would just scribble circles in a sequence -for me they meant my curly hair.

One day my grandpa saw this and asked me what I was doing. Without hesitation I replied –mere annda, annda baal- which meant my egg like hair. To make a direct translation –my eggy eggy hair. He was still kind enough to lend me papers.

Didi – My elder sister!

She is my sister and her name is not didi.

Zeba didi may not want to know this but her name made learning the spelling of zebra easy for me.

We are very alike she threw milk behind the sofa and I poured milk in the kitchen sink.

I love her because she is a loving and caring sister.

She used to hold my hand everywhere we went when I was small. (I am not sure it can even be my brother!)

Ones, when I was a baby she was carrying me down the stairs, she tripped and fell. She got hurt but she didn’t let me get a scratch.
She even gave me her precious ‘Sticker Collection’

Crazy Talk

I like escaping from house hold chores and Home Work.

I love annoying my brother.

I love calling my self moms favorite to trouble my siblings.

I think I am a good actress because only my brother sees the evil behind my face.

My mother says me I am good at applying Mehndi(hina) but refuses when I offer to apply Mehndi on her hands.

My brother is the best person on earth that’s what makes annoying him more fun.

I enjoy the game of innocence in front of my parents.

I wonder how I am known as a good and wise girl at school.

Some times my own achievements astonish me though I believe I am the most talented person on earth.

The whole earth revolves around me.

I love animals very much but still I am not a vegetarian. ( I love eating Chicken)

I love scribbling but not in my brothers books because the after effects are painful.

I love talk bad about my brother but keep it a secret.

I like a clean room but just cant keep one.

If you will ever see my room and think that it is clean. I am warning you that you didn’t see my cupboard yet.

I would never be able to solve the problems in my computer if my brother was not there.

My room is already a disaster; it would have become a greater disaster if no one would have invented a bin.
I love making poems and my dad loves writing them.

A shelf is a nice piece of furniture to keep things away from mischievous hands.

I love cats but I am also scared of them.
